The North Houston area is growing quickly, with new neighborhoods and communities being built all the time. Due to so many job opportunities in Houston, many families are looking for places to live outside of the city, in order to have more of a suburban family lifestyle while still maintaining an easy commute into the city. That being said, it can be an overwhelming decision as where to live, as there are so many great options! We’re here to help.

Today, we want to spotlight one of the area’s most well known and beloved neighborhoods, Benders Landing! This single family neighborhood is located in Spring, Texas, just a few minutes away from the Hardy Toll Road and 1-45. This is a sweet spot for those who need to commute into the city for work, but still enjoy easy access to The Woodlands and Spring areas. The area is known for large lots (typically 1-2 acres per lot), scenic ponds and a wide variety of homes to choose from, in a number of different styles and sizes.

Homes in Benders Landing are newer, with a median build year of 2013. Because there are so many different home styles and sizes throughout the community, the value per home ranges from $350K to $2M. This leaves an opportunity for many families to find a home that works for them!

The neighborhood green space, Liberty Park is a wonderful area for families to enjoy the outdoors. The community clubhouse boasts great amenities, such as a banquet hall, a fitness center and a large outdoor pool. A bit more adventurous? Take a stroll following the 1.1 mile scenic trail along the lake, or hit one of the multiple sports courts, including baseball, basketball and tennis. Children enjoy a large playground area. There’s truly something for all ages!

Another plus, Benders Landing is zoned to the award-winning Conroe Independent School District! Typically, Pre-K through 4th grade attend Snyder Elementary, 5th and 6th grades attend Cox Middle School, 7th and 8th grades attend York Junior High. Lastly, High School students may attend Oak Ridge High School or Grand Oaks High School, a newer addition to the schooling district. It’s no doubt that these outstanding schools offer a big plus to living in Benders Landing!
